The GenosTV™ Service
GenosTV™ is a worldwide TV distribution company that creates the new category of IPCABLETV, delivering content from around the world to a global audience of TV consumers over broadband Internet. GenosTV™ licenses, receives and delivers high quality TV content over the Internet, exploiting the established and continually expanding worldwide IP network, to link consumers directly to the content that they are seeking.

GenosTV™ provides easy-to-use aggregated access to a diverse and broad range of media content whether the content comes from major production houses or from GenosTV™ community members themselves. Using the Internet, GenosTV™ exploits the only common global network and connectivity standards thereby providing complete global reach. GenosTV™ creates a direct one-to-one relationship between the content providers and the content consumers. GenosTV™ is delivered, as part of the GenosTV™ network service, over broadband Internet connections to its subscribers’ televisions using the GenosTV™ software application installed on Internet-connected consumer electronics devices. GenosTV™ aims to provide its worldwide subscribers with access to cable, network and other media content from every geography and in every language across the world.
The GenosTV™ service will be made available to consumers using Internet-connected devices in their homes, including new generation Internet-enabled digital TVs, IPTV set-top-boxes, DVD/BluRay players, home theater systems, games consoles, etc. Content, on the GenosTV™ service, will be in high definition where available. In consumers' homes, Internet-enabled devices can be connected as part of a high speed wireless or wired network to modems and routers that provide broadband Internet access to their locations. GenosTV™ will not, initially, be made available on computers and mobile devices until applicable carriage rights for such delivery have been established with a broad range of content providers.
Security and Privacy
Content security and subscriber privacy are primary components of the GenosTV™ service.
The GenosTV™ software application and network infrastructure contain special features to maintain the security of the content, as well as the privacy of GenosTV™ subscribers. The GenosTV™ service will protect the security of delivered content in accordance with, and beyond, the contractual demands of content providers, by ensuring that material can only be accessed by consumers with valid subscriptions to the content. The GenosTV™ software application prevents content from being locally stored or even from being illegally extracted by the consumer. The geographic location of the viewing consumer device is continuously verified and content can be "geo-blocked" in accordance with any such requirements from the content provider.

Seeking content for the GenosTV™ service from mainstream and independent content providers/owners worldwide
The Genos Corporation and GenosTV™ are currently in the process of negotiating carriage rights for content for the GenosTV™ service. Discussions are currently underway with major television programmers, networks and content owners in select geographical areas. GenosTV™ is seeking to create a direct relationship between content providers and content consumers while, at the same time, giving programmers the ability to deliver richer content to a broader audience and giving consumers access to a broader range of enhanced high quality content. The GenosTV™ service will offer high quality live TV content line-ups similar to those provided by cable and satellite TV operators with the addition of globally sourced and hard-to-get material that has been generally excluded from standard lineups. The additional material will address the demands of ex-patriot demographics and of consumers with diverse interests poorly served by limited offerings of their current providers. The GenosTV™ service will also provide online movies, video-on-demand and exclusive material. GenosTV™ aims to provide its worldwide subscribers with access to cable, network and other media content from every geography and in every language across the world. The GenosTV™ service will be steadily extended to take advantage of the many unique and bidirectional features of the Internet, adding
capabilities such as video-email, video chat/telephony, text-messaging, distributed group viewing capability, user-generated material, community video etc.
The GenosTV™ service is truly portable and can be accessed anywhere with a broadband Internet connection, allowing consumers to take their service wherever they go – subject only to any geographic restrictions required by specific content providers.
The GenosTV™ network can provide secure online storage of up to 180 days for every channel on the service, making a multi-million hour DVR available to members with active subscriptions to the content.
This service, called CloudDVR™, subject to approval from the specific content owners, will allow consumers all of the recording, time-shifting and similar features they expect from in-home DVR systems, while providing greater potential capacity than any available DVR system.
CloudDVR™, with securely encrypted storage on GenosTV™ servers, also provides content owners with greater security of, and control over, their valuable content when compared to having that content stored on consumer premises.
The GenosTV™ network will also provide storage for non-channel content including material created by subscribers, movies in multiple languages from both mainstream and independent producers along with other free and pay-to-view content.
Intellectual Property
The Genos Corporation considers intellectual property and copyright protection to be of the utmost importance — whether applicable to media content or to technological development — whether applicable to material created by third parties or to its own activities.
The security features of the GenosTV™ service will protect intellectual property and copyright of content providers in accordance with, and beyond, their contractual demands.
GenosTV™ will never knowingly allow illegal or pirated content to be distributed over the GenosTV™ service.
On behalf of the Genos Corporation, the GenosTV™ and Cyclops™ development teams have filed multiple utility and design patent applications that cover advanced and exclusive features of their respective products.
These applications have been filed in the United States and worldwide patent offices.
A number of additional patent applications are in process at this time.
